Published materials held by the Muscogee (Creek) Nation National Library and Archives

In January of 1995, Principal Chief Bill Fife affixed his signature to Tribal Resolution 95-01, establishing the Muscogee (Creek) Nation National Library and Archives. The MCN National Library & Archives provides tribal citizens and the non-Muscogee public access to a premier collection of materials relating to the history and culture of the Muscogee people and other associated southeastern tribes. The current library collection of 4,313 resources includes books, journals, periodicals, dissertations, archaeological reports, family genealogies, and other written materials. The library is currently a non-circulating research-only collection, offering the Oral History Research Station and a public-use computer with access to the Internet. Hours are from 9 am – 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. For questions, you may contact the library at 918-732-7733.
